These are pics of an 1890 Winchester pump in .22 WRF. It was in a house fire and completely burned up. The magazine had live rounds in it that had ruptured. The stocks completly burned off, they couldn't find the buttplate. the barrel was bent. The Fire Captain was a friend of the homeowner. He found the remains of the rifle in the rubble and brought it to me. He wanted me to restore the rifle so he could present it to his friend. I was able to straighten the barrel and drawfile the flats and reharden the steel, keeping the lettering intact. Found a reproduction magazine tube and liner, a rough forged cressent buttplate and new stock and forend. Handfit everything back together and reblued it. I also found some .22 WRF ammo.
